Culross to star in pioneering podcast
By Laura Cummings
A WEST FIFE village is the star of the first podcast produced by the National Trust for Scotland.
Culross will feature in the first of six walking podcasts, launched last week, which take visitors on scenic walks around some of the conservation charity’s most iconic properties.
The podcasts are designed to encourage visitors to enjoy walking at trust properties and include a stroll around the medieval streets of Culross.
Long-standing trust volunteer Elizabeth McLeod (70), who helped to pilot the podcasts, said, “The Culross podcast was fascinating to listen to and very easy to use. I found out some very interesting facts about the village too.”
They have been recorded at trust properties with contributions from employees and volunteers.
