Cat travels 45 miles under bonnet of neighbour's car
Cosmo.
THE hunt is on for Cosmo the cat – the Perth feline who became a Micra moggie-on-the-move after slipping under the bonnet of a neighbour’s car.
For the black and white Tom travelled 45 miles south as the HMS Caledonia worker drove to the Rosyth base in his Nissan Micra.
Now anxious owner David Wilson (57), Innewan Place, Perth, has called on Rosyth residents to help him find the pet, who disappeared on 5th November.
He said, “He’s been spotted by a WPC on the base recently so we know he’s still around the area and must be scrounging food.
“When my neighbour arrived at work at HMS Caledonia, he told me, Cosmo let out a yelp and ran into some undergrowth.
“I think fireworks scared him and that’s why he went under the bonnet in the first place. He thought it would be safe.
“He’s quite a homely cat and has never disappeared before. He’s friendly and very fond of milk.”
Cosmo’s sister, Mosa, has also been pining for her brother and posters have been put up around the base as the search for the 11-year-old cat continues.
The cat can be identified by a missing front right incisor.
“He must be pretty scared and we’re desperate to get him back,” added Mr Wilson.
