Teenage apprentice dies after being hit by a car

A MAN has died after being hit by a car on the A909 Cowdenbeath to Beverkae Road.

Sean Hutchinson (19), from Kinghorn, died in the collision, which happened at around 9.45pm on the road half a mile south of its junction with the A92 on Sunday,

The apprentice mechanic engineer was walking home alone after a night out.

The road was closed for several hours as police carried out investigations.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Hutchinson, who was wearing dark clothes prior to the accident, to contact them on 01592 251111.
