A WEST FIFE nurse is in the running to be named FHM"s High Street Honey after making the top 10 of the UK wide competition.
Kirsty McDaid (23), a phlebotomist at the Queen Margaret Hospital, appears in the latest edition of the leading lads" mag after overcoming competition from 14,000 other wannabe models.
If she wins the coveted title she"ll pocket £10,000, appear on the cover of the magazine and present her own music show on KISS TV.
She"ll also be the first Scottish winner of the competition, now in its seventh year.
The Press featured the mum-of-one in November last year when she first made the top 100.
And Kirsty, who said she will buy her mum botox with the prize money, appealed to readers to get voting for her.
'I need as many votes as I can get,' she said. 'I"m so grateful to everyone who voted for me in the last round.
'When my friends heard about High Street Honeys they sent off some pictures of me. I can"t believe I"ve made the top ten.'
The High Street Honey winner will be announced in the July issue, and the voting closes on 25th March.
