Zodiak stars were out of this world!

GYMNASTS from Zodiak Gymnastic Club travelled to Musselburgh Sports Centre to take part in the Asymmetrix Floor & Vault competitions recently.
In the 6/7 age group the A team of Emma Stevenson, Eve Wishart, Lisa Chandler and Kirsty Baxter won the gold medal with Lisa Chandler taking the individual silver and Eve Wishart taking the individual bronze medals.
In the 8/9 section, the A team of Melissa Goodale, Jane Stevenson, Lucy Johnston and Cara McNaughton also won the gold medal. In the 10/11 years section, Rachel Spowart won an individual bronze, while Zodiak also won team gold through Rachel, Chloe Shaw and Emma Hamil. In the senior section, Maisie Cottingham won an individual silver medal with the team of Maisie Cottingham, Aimee Anderson and Roslyn Hawkins taking the bronze medal.
Zodiak gymnast Megan Slater, a member of Scottish Gymnastics Performance Squad, was part of the team representing Scotland at the Inter District Team Competition at Basingstoke at the weekend. The Scottish team came seventh.
