Get set for Auld Toun 10K

THE popular Auld Toun 10K road race organised by Carnegie Harriers takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday from Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline with more than 350 runners expected to take part.

All finishers will receive a race medal and there are awards in all categories.

Pre-race entries are being accepted until Monday while on-line entries and further race information can be found at www.carnegie-harriers.co.uk. Entries on the night within the Glen Pavilion will be accepted from 6-7.15pm

The Harriers are also staging a one mile race as part of their Friday Evening Race Series and this takes place at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday) within Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline. All entries (£2) will be taken on the night.

Q-buster, the online entry service from Interloq, has offered a unique opportunity to win £250 as a reward to runners entering and finishing Dunfermline’s local races.

All you have to do is enter and finish both the Auld Toun 10K and the Dunfermline City Half Marathon (Sunday 27th May) to stand a chance of winning the cash.

The lucky winner will be chosen at random after the Dunfermline City Half Marathon on Sunday 27th May.
