Help sought to trace Dunfermline woman

I AM trying to trace a person who was possibly born in Dunfermline and lived there until at least the mid-twenties, perhaps she still lives in the area.

Elizabeth (Betty) Wilson lived at 19 Foundry Street, Dunfermline in the 1950s.

She was possibly born in Dunfermline or southern Fife in 1933/4, so her present age would be approximately 74 or 75. She worked for a firm of architects in Dunfermline as a draughtsman/tracer for a number of years and then took up a position in Rosyth Dockyard doing similar work.

She had relatives in Dunfermline at the time and her cousin’s christian name was Nancy, I believe. She was also a member of the Carnegie Centre, Pilmuir Street where the younger generation of adults would meet on a Sunday evening and also other evenings.

My contact is at the address below or email mjprice@waitrose.com or phone me on 07792 640436. I presume that she got married in the late 1950s and could now possibly be living elsewhere. Perhaps there are people in Dunfermline who would remember her and possibly know where she is now.

M J Price,

14 Sconner Road, Torpoint, Cornwall, PL11 2LJ.
