EU refuses to abide by its own rules

THE Irish voters – the only ones in Europe allowed to express their opinions in a ballot – have given a resounding NO to the Lisbon Treaty.

According to many opinion polls, the majority in the UK agree with the Irish; they want their own elected government to run the country, not just rubber stamp orders from Brussels.

The self imposed rules of the EU state that if one country fails to ratify the Treaty, it is dead.

That is why the EU constitution had its title changed to The Lisbon Reform Treat because the people of France and the Netherlands rejected it.

Already, Gordon Brown says the UK will ratify the treaty and the President of the EU says that process should continue in other EU countries, which shows just how corrupt the EU is. It refuses to abide by its own rules.
