Vintage vehicles to go on show
NEARLY 500 historic vehicles will converge on West Fife on Sunday, 15th June when the Fife Historic Vehicle Club holds its annual Festival of Historic Transport at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum at Lathalmond.
Vintage and classic vehicles from 1920s to the 1980s will be on show, including cars, vintage lorries, motor cycles, pedal cycles and tractors, as well as stationary engines and agricultural machines.
In addition, the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum will be open with many of the buses of yesteryear on view.
Vintage buses will operate a free shuttle service between Lathalmond and Dunfermline City Centre throughout the day from 11am, with the pick-up point by the fire station.
Organisers are promising something for all the family with displays from birds of prey and sled dogs, as well as craft stalls and a wood turner, autojumble, food and charity stalls. There will also be rides on a miniature bus.
The event will be open to the public from 11am-4pm.
