Guitar legend Steve Cropper to play the Carnegie Hall

“The world’s greatest living guitarist” – and number two in the best-ever list after Jimi Hendrix – comes to Dunfermline next month for a gig at Carnegie Hall.

Soul guitar legend Steve Cropper, a founder member of Booker T and The MGs and leader of the Stax Records house band, will be in town on 26th August at 7.30pm.

He played on, and produced and co-wrote classics such as ‘, ‘Knock on Wood’, '(Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay’ and ‘In the Midnight Hour’.
