Gardens & Palaces Cruise

BD0916 - Departing from Leith - 12 nights through the stunningly beautiful Baltic Long, light nights and the proximity of Leith to the North Sea make a high summer Baltic cruise an easy, hassle free choice. This cruise covers a Flagship Golf package.

SHIP DETAIL

A truly world class cruise ship with a light and airy design, Boudicca's scale creates a sense of warmth and welcome from the moment you embark. Her large windows bring light to the subtle and elegant décor of the unconfined lounges, restaurants and public areas. Cabins on Boudicca are generously roomy and the suites sumptuous and unrestrained. She has just 437 cabins and carries a maximum of around 850 passengers.

Superb food coupled with friendly, attentive service are hallmarks of the Fred Olsen cruising experience. A five course evening meal followed by some of the varied entertainment featured onboard will no doubt be the highlight of your evening. In the Neptune Lounge, specially choreographed revues, comedy and lavishly costumed West End favourites bring the night alive. Special 'Theme Nights' such as British Night, 60's and 70's and Tropical nights all bring their own magic.

To experience the best of Fred. Olsen cruises, you need to be at sea, this allows you time to truly explore your home from home and have as relaxing or energetic day as you like. Soak up the sun on deck, pause for an al fresco mid-morning tea or coffee. A few lengths in one of the ship's pools maybe, a quick game of deck quoits or a golf lesson? Or maybe all you want to do is settle down with a good book before getting ready for dinner and the night's entertainment.

Casino facilities onboard offer the opportunity to try your luck at Blackjack or Roulette. Indulge in the graceful art of ballroom dancing or test those grey cells with our popular 'Quiz Time' evenings before heading over to the restaurant for the late-night buffet.

FLY/CRUISE FROM GLASGOW!

15 blissful nights of cruising around the scintillating sensuous gems of the Caribbean.

You will sail on the beautiful Braemar, which has been described a truly elegant ship, but certainly not stuffy! Expansive windows, large open decks and terraces, as well as a spectacular five-deck atrium create a sense of space noticeably absent from so many of today's massive cruise vessels. Coral Islands and the Caribbean Gems Cruise

Fly from Glasgow to Dominican Republic. 3rd January 2010

A true Caribbean cruise is on offer, visiting beautiful Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia and Martinique to name but a few. This adventure around the Caribbean allows you to walk in tropical rainforests, colourful villages and more beaches than you'll have time to count (Antigua has over 350 beaches of its own). You start your cruise in Dominican Republic, the country Columbus declared the fairest in the world. Next, is Martinique on day three. Here, the scene becomes very French you'll also find sleek shops selling the latest Chanel. Swapping a French island for a distinctly British one, you'll arrive into Barbados, where you'll find cricket grounds and old English churches side-by-side with palm-fringed beaches and plenty of rum shops. Our next stop Dominica, will allow you the unique experience of seeing turtles, or why not try snorkelling in either St Kitts or Tortola. Prepare to have your breath taken away several times over, because it's the scenery that's the star of the show in these places. Dominica is known as the island of waterfalls, Tortola is full of ancient rainforests and hot mineral pools, and St Kitts is all about the beaches.

Thomson Destiny is the largest ship in the Thomson fleet. Whether you're topping up your tan on the spacious sun deck or dining al fresco with the sun on your face, there's plenty to hold your attention during the day. Come sundown, thrilling cabaret shows and UK guest acts top the bill in an evening that often stretches to late in the night. Families, meanwhile, will be glad to hear the new improved Kidzone keeps younger guests entertained whatever the time of day.

2 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 lounges, casino, 2 swimming pools, library, beauty salon, Kidzone, video arcade, gymnasium, saunas, medical centre, internet access, air-conditioned throughout, stabilised, worldwide satellite telephone, telex and fax.
