THE Alhambra has launched its new brochure packed with star names coming to the theatre over the next few months.

There is something for everyone in the sizzling programme featuring the biggest attractions in musicals, comedy, rock music, plays, opera and ballet.

The start of December sees the arrival for a sell-out five night run by Scotland's own comedy king Kevin Bridges, far and away the hottest ticket in town.

After a week of laughter it's time for the razzle dazzle of the West End with the epic musical 'Chicago'.

This year's pantomime is going to bigger and better than ever with Jane McCarry - Isa from 'Still Game' - joining 'Raven' James Mackenzie and 'Taggart' star Colin McCredie.

And in the days just before Christmas there are two big festive concerts with The Proclaimers and One Night of Queen, ahead of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers returning for their now traditional end of year show.

Some of the biggest names in the comedy world are heading to the Alhambra in 2013 including Jimmy Carr, Bill Bailey, Jason Manford, Russell Kane and Reginald D. Hunter.

From the world of rock The Kaiser Chiefs can be predicted to be on riotous form and there are also visits from top tribute acts Illegal Eagles and Rumours of Fleetwood Mac.

Kids are not forgotten with The Singing Kettle, Milkshake Live and Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom stage show.

Theatre manager Simon Fletcher said, "Autumn 2012 is a significant time for the Alhambra Theatre as it marks 90 years since the opening of Dunfermline and Fife's grandest theatre.

"Our autumn/winter line-up is undoubtedly our strongest yet with some of the biggest names in musicals, comedy and rock coming to Dunfermline."
