THE six-day run of the Rocky Horror Show at the Alhambra last week has been hailed as a huge success.

There were big attendances throughout the week and the show’s fancy-dressed devotees provided their own special atmosphere.

By the weekend the atmosphere was electric and there were two performances on Saturday, the second being a sell-out.

The raunchy musical is in its 40th year but the audiences show no sign of tiring of doing the Timewarp again.

Claire Fletcher, the theatre’s marketing and PR manager, said, “It was been a great week. The costumes have been eye-catching and people have come here from all over Scotland to see the show.”
