“With stand-up comedy shows people want to be as close to the front as possible and if you are really big fans to be at the front so we are expecting it to be a very busy morning of phone calls for people booking tickets.

“We have had some big names in comedy visit the Alhambra recently such as Kevin Bridges, Frankie Boyle and Danny Bhoy and they have been hugely popular.

“These comedians and Dara have huge followings and we are expecting people from all over Scotland to come to the Alhambra because it is in the central belt and possibly easier to commute here than some of the bigger cities.

“It is very exciting to have these big names in Dunfermline and I would encourage everyone to phone in quick for a chance to get tickets.” Dara is also a columnist for the Guardian and has a number of best-selling tour DVD’s which include Live at Theatre Royal, Dara O' Briain Talks Funny – Live in London, This Is the Show and Craic Dealer.
