MIDGE URE is set to reveal all in a new Dunfermline live date announced this week.

Press Online can reveal his new acoustic show ‘Uncovered’ will lift the lid on his life in showbiz.

It’s been a busy career for the Cambuslang man (above) that has included forming supergroup Band Aid, his time in the Rich Kids with former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock and his iconic 80s period where his band Ultravox hit top spot with electro-ballad classic ‘Vienna’.

The Ivor Novello winner will play the Carnegie Hall in February as one of just four exclusive Scottish dates. The show will feature classic hits such as ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’ and ‘If I Was’, along with his own favourites from artists such as Queen, Travis and Fleetwood Mac.

By the time ‘If I Was’ went to No. 1 in 1985, he had already crammed several musical lifetimes into a ten year professional career including Slik, The Rich Kids, Thin Lizzy and Visage before forming Ultravox.

‘Uncovered’ is his latest live incarnation, giving him the chance to explore his own musical roots and share some of the anecdotes and journeys that his career has followed.
