IN their distinguishing white helmets, Royal Marine Bands are celebrated for the quality of their music, visual grandeur and precision drill. Now you can see this world class military band playing at Dunfermline's Carnegie Hall.
The Band's repertoire includes popular classics, Big Band and contemporary works.
The Corps of Drums bring movement, colour and the tradition of the ceremonial occasions.
The Scotland band is now accommodated in a purpose built Band Room at the Royal Naval Support Establishment HMS Caledonia Rosyth. It travels extensively throughout the UK, but also abroad, and will shortly be appearing in the USA.
Most members of the Band play at least two instruments, with some being required to play three.
All are required to perform different styles of music including wind band, marching band, big band, orchestral and dance band engagements.
