FANS of classical music, folk and jazz are in for a treat this winter as Dunfermline Arts Guild begins it's programme of monthly concerts today.
The series starts today (20th October) with an opening concert from the Edinburgh String Quartet at 7:30pm in the Carnegie Hall Annexe.
Founded more than fifty years ago, the quartet are now one of the most established chamber music groups in the UK. They'll be performing a programme of music from Mozart, Tchaikovski and Britten.
This will be the first of six concerts in the series featuring Scottish harpist Rachel Hair, guitarist Simon Thacker and the Athenaeum Winds quintet to name but a few.
Tickets are £10 (£1 for students and unemployed) and can be bought on the night or from Carnegie Hall Box Office.
