Mick Brennan from the Sub Station Recording Studio in Rosyth is currently in the middle of a European tour with the band.
So far they have played in Berlin and Munich in Germany, and have three Italian dates lined up followed by London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Halifax.
The Tokyo-based band were interested in playing a Dunfermline date and arranged a gig at short notice.
Taffy will play at 10pm on Sunday 12th October.
