PJ MOLLOYS is well known for showcasing music from local and upcoming bands to household names.

Tonight (Thursday) they welcome Nick Mercer Jr, Stella Reilly, Jack Wardell and Dougie McFarlane to the stage.

Fife singer Nick Mercer Jr is the former frontman of Sergeant, who shared the stage with the likes of Oasis and The Fratellis.

After a break from music when the band broke up around four years ago due to to the record label pulling out of releasing their debut album, Nick is back as a singer-songwriter and touring with his new music.

Stella Reilly is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Perth and boasts a wealth of music experience reaching far beyond her years.

Her original music provides a soulful take on folk, blended with rockabilly and blues vibes. Since going solo from Fife band Sienna, with whom she appeared at T in the Park, Stella has been touring around Scotland with her new band showcasing her music and has been working on her debut EP with a host of notable and talented musicians. Also supporting Nick Mercer Jr is Jack Wardell – an acoustic singer-songwriter based in Fife and Dougie McFarlane is a young local acoustic guitar player.

On Monday the venue hosts more talent with Blossoms, Daniel Paris and Second Stages.

Blossoms is a mosaic quintet from Manchester formed in 2013 and comprises of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock.

They have been described by NME as having a lighter take on psychedelia, with music steeped in classic British pop songwriting.

Supporting the Blossoms is Daniel Paris, a singer-songwriter from Dundee and indie rock band Second Stages from Fife.

For both dates the gigs start at 7pm and tickets cost £5. Visit www.pjmolloys.org for more information.
