FIFE'S first Pecha Kucha networking evening for creative people will take place in Dunfermline on Wednesday February 17.

Devised in Tokyo as an event for creatives to meet, network and show their work in public, Pecha Kucha has become a worldwide phenomenon where presenters pitch for their business or idea by showing 20 slides for 20 seconds each.

Designed to be informative and entertaining, Pecha Kucha nights are mostly held in fun spaces with a bar, such as bars, restaurants, studios and universities, and eight local people from a variety of creative backgrounds will showcase their work at Fire Station Creative.

The event is the first in a series of four in Fife and is free of charge. It will run from 7-9pm and places must be booked by calling Fife Cultural Trust on 01592 611101.
