INVERNESS alternative rock act will play a headline gig at PJ Molloy's in Dunfermline on Friday night.

The four-piece band have already played King Tuts in Glasgow and the main stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and were voted 'one to watch' this year after their debut release 'Seasons'.

It's their first gig in Fife and the beginning of a busy spell with dates in England, including the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, and a number of summer festivals.

Lead singer Aaron Murray said: "Although we have lots of exciting things ahead, we have really been looking forward to this coming Friday and getting to play at the popular PJ Molloy's.

"When our manager called to say that we had confirmed PJ's, we were over the moon. Then he said it was to headline, and we were instantly super excited."

Silver Coast were invited by Kirkcaldy band Gentlemen Jackals, who will be one of three support acts at Friday's gig along with Franco The Mighty from Dalgety Bay and Life In Colour from Dunfermline.

Tickets are priced at £5 and are on sale by contacting any of the bands through their Facebook pages or by emailing stephen@spbevents.co.uk.

There will also be a limited number of tickets on the door.
