City entertainer headlines at Glasgow Pavilion
DUNFERMLINE entertainer Clark Stewart (40) is following in the footsteps of showbiz legends when he headlines Scotland's largest variety show at the famous Glasgow Pavilion next week.
Also starring in the "Magic of Scotland Show" are the Alexander Brothers, Alasdair McDonald and Fiona Kennedy, plus a full supporting cast of musicians and dancers.
Former Woodmill High School pupil Clark spent many years entertaining and directing shows around the world on board various luxury cruise liners and was the youngest-ever cruise director on board the QE2.
While at sea, he played many leading roles in musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Evita and Fiddler On The Roof.
On land, he has played leading roles in Guys & Dolls, West Side Story, Brigadoon, Hello Dolly and Oliver and has featured in pantomimes at Kings Theatre in Edinburgh and the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline.
Prior to turning professional in 1989, Clark spent many happy years treading the boards with Carnegie Youth Theatre, Fife Youth Theatre and Kelty Musical Association.
"The Magic of Scotland" runs until Saturday.
