DALGETY BAY has been named as one of the best coastal towns to live in Scotland.
It came eighth in a new list of the top ten towns places in the Bank of Scotland’s Seaside Towns Review.
The survey, which looked at 28 communities across the country, is based on factors including health, employment, education and even sunshine hours.
Surprisingly, Leven also made number nine in the list despite not being renowned for any of the above attributes. Burntisland was placed tenth.
Traffic, break-ins and house prices were also taken into account in the survey, which placed Stonehaven as the best Scottish seaside town.
