Fife police are trying to trace the identity of a man who caused alarm when he approached a woman coming off a bus in Dalgety Bay.
The woman made a complaint after an incident in the town's Hopetoun Place around 3.20pm on Saturday 2nd April.
The woman and suspect are believed to have both been passengers on the No.7A Stagecoach bus shortly before the incident.
In particular, police want to speak to passengers who travelled on the bus and may have witnessed the incident.
The officer coordinating the police enquiry, Detective Inspector Michelle Johnson, said, "The bus in question travels between Dunfermline and Leven following the coastal route. It was a single decker and reported to be fairly busy.
"We are keen to identify all passengers who were on the bus prior to it stopping at Moray Way North, Dalgety Bay.
"The man responsible is described as white European, slim build, early 30's, wearing a black coloured hoodie, blue jeans, white trainers and a black cap." Any passengers or others with information are asked to contact Dalgety Bay Police Station on 0845 6005702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where calls are treated anonymously.
