ROSYTH is set to be the new home for the Sainsbury's Bank call centre next year.

The bank has taken over Caledonia House in the Innova Campus and will move 270 Lloyds Bank staff from their current locations in Pitreavie and Dundas House in Rosyth.

The move is part of a deal struck by Sainsbury's Bank and the Lloyds Banking Group earlier this year.

The new 21,000 sq ft customer contact centre will boast break-out areas, a restaurant and shower facilities.

Speaking on Wednesday, Peter Griffiths, Sainsbury’s Bank chief executive, said, “These are exciting times for the bank and today’s announcement underlines our long-term commitment to our customer services colleagues, operation and customers.

“We promised our talented and committed customer services colleagues that we’d find them a great new home nearby, and we’re delighted to have acquired this site so close to their current location.” Sainsbury’s is also working on plans to open a new store in Rosyth in spring next year, close to the new call centre.
