DEBENHAMS in Dunfermline has been named as the best small store in the UK in an in-house competition.
The Autumn Winter 2014 Model Store programme is run nationally by Debenhams to award and recognise stores who deliver the highest standards of visual merchandising and customer experience.
The stores are judged by head office representatives on layout, customer journey, cleanliness, visual merchandising and trend projection.
Sam Broderick, who has been store manager at Debenhams in Dunfermline since April 2013, said, “Being selected as the best small store in the UK for Model Store is a huge honour and I am so proud to celebrate the win as store manager. Every store wants to win so naturally my team and I are thrilled to have been recognised.
“Our success is testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of every single member of the Debenhams Dunfermline team.
“At Debenhams Dunfermline we aim to deliver excellence in customer service as well as providing our customers with the latest trends and timeless wardrobe staples and the top names in beauty and cosmetics.” Sam will travel to New York in November with other Debenhams store managers from across the UK to celebrate the win in style. The store, which employs 150 people in Dunfermline, also receives £1000 towards its staff Christmas party.
