KIDS and adults alike helped make it a very happy birthday for Appin Nursery last weekend – and raised £300 in the process!
The nursery and creche, located on Halbeath Road in Dunfermline, was celebrating three years since its opening and held a party last Saturday which doubled as a fundraiser for CHAS.
With stalls, treats and fun activities including a bouncy castle, the youngsters were in their element and manager Mike McInally was pleased with how the day went.
“It was really busy and we had virtually all the parents and children here,” he said. “We raised about £150 for the nursery and the same amount for CHAS, which is our main charity.
“The children at the nursery will get to decide where we spend the money raised.
“We’re really pleased with the way the event went.
“It was a birthday celebration for three years since we opened and all the parents and children had a ball.”
