POLICE in Dunfermline are continuing their investigation into the murder of Abbeyview man Duncan Banks.
The 39-year-old's body was found in the living room of his Skye Road flat at 5pm on Monday, September 28, having sustained multiple head injuries inflicted by an unidentified weapon.
A bottom floor flat in Inchgarvie Crescent, near the address of Mr Banks, was cordoned off on Friday, October 2, as part of the police's ongoing enquiries but there has been no further update on their investigation.
Last week, DCI Keith Hardie confirmed that officers had been searching the area to find out the murder weapon and said that police were keeping an "open mind" when it came to the motive behind the killing.
