A NEW Starbucks will open at Dunfermline's Fife Leisure Park on Monday.

Serving Starbucks drinks – including Autumn favourite, Pumpkin Spice Latte, in the firm's new Autumn cups, the store will be open seven days a week, creating 16 new jobs.

The new Starbucks store will be supporting the Teapot Trust charity, which offers support to children and young people with long-term medical conditions through art therapy.  The Dunfermline store is the first drive-thru Starbucks to open in the East of Scotland and will be the second to be opened by franchise partner and local business, Burton & Speke.

The Dunfermline Starbucks will be open from 6am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 7am-9pm Saturday and 8am-8pm on Sunday.

Sean Geddes, managing director of Burton & Speke, said: “It’s very exciting to be finally opening our doors here in Dunfermline, the first Starbucks Drive Thru in the region. We’re looking forward to working with our charity partners, as well as welcoming new faces, be they locals or simply driving through.”

Commenting on the new store, Simon Redfern, Starbucks communications director for Europe, added: “We’re delighted to be opening our new drive-thru store on Monday. We are seeing a very popular response to our drive-thru stores and are looking forward to welcoming the local community and commuters alike.”
