A DUNFERMLINE family is showing that girl power is here to stay, with five generations of direct female descendants.
Baby Ava Black just turned seven weeks old on Monday after being born on October 5, becoming the latest in a long line of women family members who were delighted to meet her.
She’s completed a fab five and joins mum Robyn Crawford, 21, gran Evelyn Crawford, 42, great-nana Elizabeth Farrell, 59, and great-great-gran Evelyn McCraw, 79.
The new arrival is already full of smiles and the family got together for a special five generations photo, with the Press on hand to feature the historic occasion.
Ava, mum Robyn and gran Evelyn all live in Dunfermline and Evelyn was pleased to get the whole family together to celebrate.
“We’re all direct descendants of each other, from daughter to daughter all the way round,” she said.
“Ava’s getting completely spoiled because we’re all just over the moon that she’s here!”
