A water main has burst outside Dunfermline Police Station, closing Townhill Road and leaving residents without water
PART OF Townhill Road has been closed and residents left without water after a main burst outside Dunfermline Police Station.
Many people in the surrounding area lost their water supply last night and some are still without it this morning.
Scottish Water confirmed the a burst water main had been located and warned that customers may experience loss of water supply, low pressure, and discoloured water.
A squad is on site to carry out the necessary repairs and will restore supplies as soon as possible.
