POLICE in Dunfermline are investigating the theft of a black coloured Leyland DAF horsebox lorry from the Fordell Estate just outside Dunfermline on Sunday, March 13.
The vehicle has the words 'Lime Salon' on the side and was stolen from near to the Fordell Firs Scout centre sometime between 6-8.50pm.
Officers are now asking anyone who has seen this vehicle or who has information that can help them with their inquiries to get in touch.
Detective Constable Alasdair Young, from Dunfermline CID, said: "The stolen vehicle is very distinct looking and the chances are someone remembers seeing it over the past week.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the vehicle since the theft to contact the Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
