FIFE police are appealing for witnesses after a car was found burnt out in Aberdour on Tuesday.

The red Audi A4 saloon car was found around midnight on April 5 in the Braefoot Bay area on the road towards the jetty.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone with information that can help them with their inquiries.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh of Dunfermline CID said: “We suspect this vehicle may have been used to commit other crimes in the area and we’re keen to hear from anyone with information that can help us with our inquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to please contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
