POLICE are looking for thieves who have been siphoning fuel and stealing batteries from cars after a spate of thefts across West Fife in recent weeks.
The first incident happened between 4pm on Thursday, April 7 and 8am on Friday, April 8 at Kingseat Road in Dunfermline, where a construction vehicle parked there had a quantity of diesel stolen from it.
Two Fiats were also targeted for their fuel between 8.30pm on Sunday, April 10 and 7.30am on Monday, April 11 when the blue and beige-coloured vehicles were parked on Pleasance Road in Halbeath.
Another vehicle was hit on Kingseat Road between 1.30pm on Friday, April 15 and 7.30am on Saturday, April 16, when someone removed two batteries from a JCB parked there.
Anyone with information about the thefts should contact Police Scotland on 101.
