Former I’m A Celebrity star Lady Colin Campbell had a lucky escape after she was involved in a three-car collision on Friday
The TV star and son Dima, who was travelling with her and their dog, were unhurt in the crash which saw ambulances and fire crews called to a section of road in Worthing, West Sussex.
Pictures acquired by The Sun show serious damage to the driver’s side of Lady C’s dark blue Audi, while a light blue Audi was totalled in the crash, with the passenger side completely caved in and the engine separated from the bonnet.
The 66-year-old and her son looked shocked as they surveyed the damage and spoke to police at the scene of the crash.
Sussex police confirmed that no injuries were reported in the crash.
A spokeswoman said: “At 4.15pm on Friday 6 May police were called to a collision involving three vehicles on the A27 Arundel Road in Clapham, near Worthing, West Sussex.
“Diversions were in place while the vehicles, which were two Audis and a Ford, were recovered and the scene was made safe.
“No injuries were reported.”
A rep for Lady C said: “I’m glad to report that she, her son and dog are safe and unscathed.”
Lady C is currently filming a new reality TV show called The Lady In The Castle.
She found fame on the last series of I’m A Celebrity with her cutting put-downs, but she left the show early on medical grounds.
Vicky Pattison went on to win.
