FIFERS voted overwhelmingly to remain in Europe in yesterday's Euro poll as the UK chose Leave.
The Fife vote saw 106,754 vote Remain - 58.6% of the vote - with 41.4% voting Leave, 75,466 voters.
The turnout in the Kingdom was 66.7%.
The Fife vote was in line with the rest of Scotland which voted clearly to Remain - 62% of Scots voted in favour of remaining in the EU compared to just 38% who voted Leave on a turnout of 67.2%.
The UK vote saw Britain leaving the EU confirmed around 6am this morning. With all results in, 52% of the UK voted to Leave with the Remain camp polling 48%. The overall turnout was 72%.
