A DEVASTATED wife who lost her husband in a horror crash just three months after their wedding has spoken of her grief and loss.

Blue Angels motorcyclist Zak Watson, 31, sadly died when his bike was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van on the A907 at Bogside, on Thursday evening.

In April, the Press told you how Zak and wife Michelle, 33, tied the knot in Dunfermline to the roar of 50 motorcycles, when fellow bikers turned up to help celebrate their big day.

In a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook, Michelle wrote: “I have lost my soulmate, the man I was to spend the rest of my life with.

“Zak was the most amazing guy I've ever met. We loved each other more than words can say.

“I just cannot believe this is happening. Words cannot describe the pain I feel in my heart right now.

“Thank you to everyone for their kind words. Means a lot at this time.”

Tributes to Zak have been pouring in on social media and Michelle thanked everyone who had offered condolences.

She added: “To know so many people are thinking of me is a comfort. This is the darkest I've ever felt.

“I didn't know it was this possible to feel so much pain in my heart. My heart is broken and I don't if it'll will ever mend.”

The accident occurred around 7.05pm on July 14, west of Devilla Quarry.

Emergency services raced to the scene and the road was shut for around five-and-a-half hours while road police officers carried out investigations.

Sergeant Derek Allan, from the road policing unit in Glenrothes, said: “Anyone who was on the A907 on Thursday evening and witnessed the incident is asked to contact police immediately.”
