COFFEE lovers in Dunfermline have a new outlet to enjoy a caffeine fix after Costa opened its second shop in the town.

The coffee giant already operates a cafe in New Row - which they have confirmed will remain open - but now have an outlet at Debenhams in the Kingsgate, which was opened on Thursday August 11.

Douglas Chapman, MP for Dunfermline and West Fife, cut the ribbon to declare the new outlet opened and said: "I was pleased to meet the Costa team and enjoy a coffee and a chat with them.

"The new store looks great, is in an enviable location and brings employment to the town centre.

"Dunfermline has a good variety of cafes and restaurants and this is another fine addition".

Store manager Chloe Brogan added: "The current Costa will be staying open. We have a friendly team all ready to go and are looking forward to welcoming our customers."
