POLICE are hunting a man who exposed himself in the village park in Crossford last Thursday.

Extra patrols have been stepped up as officers appeal for witnesses following the incident which took place in King George V Park around 3.10pm on September 22.

The man was last seen shortly after leaving the park through the Katrine Drive exit and increased patrols are being set up in the village.

Police are now looking to trace the man and are appealing to the public for information. He is described as wearing blue jeans and a black top.

Community officers will now be conducting extra patrols around the area in the coming days and there will be a heightened police presence in and around the park.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh, of Dunfermline CID, said: “This is a distressing incident and we are eager the trace the man involved as soon as possible.

“We will be undertaking extra patrols in King George V Park in order to provide community reassurance.

"Members of the public should expect to see officers in and around the park in the coming days.

“Anyone who was in the park on Thursday at around 3pm and has information that can assist us is asked to get in touch.”
