Ahead of what's set to be the busiest night of the year, Police are ensuring the public that they will be stepping up patrols on Black Friday.
A safe zone will be running in Dunfermline town centre along with the ambulance service and street pastors.
This will be part of a local day of deployment action organised by Dunfermline Police station.
The early part of Friday will focus on domestic violence awareness and the evening will look at safety in the town centre.
Sergeant Tom Clague said: "The public can be assured that we will be very visible in the town centre and there will be a heavy police presence."
