WEST FIFERS are being warned to look out for a mistake in their council tax bills.

Fife Council posted on its website that a typing error has been made for anyone trying to pay their bill by digital banking.

The sort code printed on the letter is incorrect and will not be accepted.
For householders paying their bill through their online banking system, the correct details are sort code: 83-22-37 and account number 00197596.
