A DISQUALIFIED driver had landed himself another driving ban.
James Honeyman was found recklessly driving without a licence or insurance.
Police were unable to contact the Lochgelly man at the address the vehicle was registered to at first, but when found he confirmed that he did not have car insurance and was charged.
Honeyman, 38, of Stationhead Road, previously admitted that on November 23 at Viewfield Terrace, Lumphinnans, being a person disqualified for holding or obtaining a licence to drive a motor vehicle did drive a motor vehicle while disqualified and did use a motor vehicle without car insurance.
Defence solicitor, Roshni Joshi, said: "My client recognises he has no excuse and recognises it is a serious offence. It was planned but it is a decision that he absolutely regrets."
Honeyman was disqualified from holding a licence for two years and was ordered to perform 225 hours of unpaid work.
