A new art exhibition depicting every day Dunfermline life has opened at the Workspace studio in Wellwood.

Hoping to inject some local humour, the artwork is a personal reflection on the places that are important and significant to the two artists that created the display.

Born and bred in Dunfermline, Alan Grieve's work takes more of a satire approach, while Vic MacRae focuses on her daily adventures with her six year-old daughter, Iris.

Vic and her family moved to Dunfermline in 2015 and are frequent visitors to the public parks, as well as their local Aldi and Pets at Home stores to stock up on supplies for their new kitten.

Alan is an established Dunfermline artist who regularly exhibits at Workspace, which also doubles up as a hair salon. It's the first time that he has exhibited with another artist at the studio in Wellwood.

He said: "Most of my work focuses on satirical stuff. The more absurd the better!"

Their work will be on show at Workspace over the next two months.
