A WOMAN bottled another clubber whilst partying in Alloa.
On Thursday at the town's Sheriff Court, Samantha Macdonald admitted assaulting a woman in Chalmers nightclub on November 12 last year.
The 32-year-old, of Ledic Caravan Site in Oban, pleaded guilty to struggling with her victim and striking her on the head with a bottle.
Fiscal depute Graham McLachlan stated that the scuffle took place at around 2.40am.
Witnesses intervened to calm the situation down and when traced by police the accused apologised: "I'm just sorry, really sorry."
Defending, Kelly Howe explained that her client was visiting family and hadn't consumed alcohol for some time so had got easily inebriated.
Ms Howe claimed that Macdonald had no recollection of the dispute, but had no difficulty pleading guilty. The accused was said to be "appalled by her behaviour".
Sheriff David Mackie sentenced Macdonald to a Community Payback Order with 100 hours of unpaid work to be completed within 12 months.
