College lecturers in Fife are continuing with strike action today with other further education staff across Scotland over a pay dispute.
After attending the picket line at Fife College's Halbeath campus for the third time, lecturers moved on to Dunfermline MSP, Shirley-Anne Somerville's office in Chalmers Street, to put pressure on the politician to intervene.
Ms Somerville is the Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science for the Scottish Government.
They were also joined by several students whose classes have been disrupted by strike action.
The Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) members have walked out over refusal by college management to honour a deal that was reached over a year ago.
The agreement promised equal pay for lecturers in all colleges following years of pay inequity for lecturers doing the same jobs in different colleges, the EIS said.
