A KINCARDINE man punched, kicked and spat on his partner in a campaign of violence that lasted more than two years.
Duncan Stanner, 30, of Mercer Street, also grabbed her by the throat and pushed her down the stairs in a catalogue of domestic abuse.
The victim, who was pregnant during some of the incidents, was violently attacked on various occasions at addresses in Kincardine and Ormiston.
Stanner appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and admitted that on various occasions between March 1, 2014 and April 28, 2016 at Mercer Street and Cockburn Drive, Ormiston, he assaulted his partner by punching her on the body.
Between June 1 and December 31, 2014, when she was pregnant, he repeatedly pushed her to the ground, seized her by the arms, pulled her to her feet, spat on her face, seized her glasses, breaking them and seized her by the throat, all to her injury.
Between March 1 and 31, 2016 at Cockburn Drive, he pushed her on the ground, repeatedly kicked her, repeatedly threatened to punch her, seized her and dragged her to her feet, all to her injury.
On April 21 last year, at Mercer Street, he pulled her by the body, seized her by the throat, pinned her against a wall, placed her in a headlock, lifted her off the ground, pushed her down stairs, seized her by the throat, lifted her off her feet whereby her breathing was restricted, all to her injury.
Sentence was deferred for reports and Stanner will return to court on August 16.
