A woman has been taken to hospital after she was found injured in a Dunfermline garden.
Emergency services attended Izatt Avenue after the alarm was raised at 8am this morning and have confirmed that the female was taken to hospital after.
It is not known what injuries the woman has or what caused the incident as police have confirmed that enquiries are at an early stage.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at a property on Izatt Avenue in Dunfermline after a woman was found injured in a garden just after 8am. She has been taken to hospital and enquiries are at an early stage."
Last month police appealed for witnesses after a car was deliberately set on fire on the same street.
