ICONIC rocker Marc Bolan will be remembered and paid tribute to in Dunfermline as part of a 40th commemorative anniversary tour.

The glam rock frontman of T.Rex tragically lost his life in a car crash in 1977 at the age of 29.

The band was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic stars of the original glam rock era.

With Bolan’s special ingredient of Rock-a-Boogie songs throughout the 1970s including ‘Telegram Sam’ and ‘Jeepster’ he was able to obtain what would be yet another Top 20 record in 1976 that has since become one of the most memorable and everlasting signature tunes, ‘I Love to Boogie’.

T.Rextasy have been performing all over the world for 25 years, paying tribute to Bolan and the band they loved to watch.

The act will play at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline stage on Thursday as they transport the audience back to the 70s.

Accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to Marc Bolan & T.Rex, and the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family and original members of T.Rex, they provide a top night's entertainment.

The show is promoted by Sweeney Entertainments and this year has been the company’s strongest year to date with more shows touring than ever before.

Tickets cost £22 and can be bought via the theatre box office on: 01383 740 384.

The show starts at 8pm.
