Strong winds are expected to affect travel plans tomorrow (Tuesday).
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for gales caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia.
It battered Ireland today with three people killed and thousands of homes and businesses left without power.
ScotRail have confirmed that there will be a small number of changes to services to and from Fife in the morning and evening peak times.
A control team will be constantly monitoring the situation, and contingency teams are in place to deal with any blockages on lines from fallen trees or debris.
A spokesperson for the ScotRail Alliance said: “We’ll be doing all we can to keep our customers moving during Storm Ophelia tomorrow. While we expect most services to run as normal, customers should check their journey before they travel.”
Those travelling by car should also expect longer journeys times and some roads and bridges could close.
Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage and also be on the lookout for debris falling from roofs.
The weather warning is for the period between midnight and 3pm tomorrow with strong winds from Hurricane Ophelia, which has arrived from the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Met office said: "A spell of very windy weather is likely on Tuesday in association with Ophelia."
