POLICE are appealing for information after reporting that a 10-year-old boy was racially abused outside a Rosyth primary school.
The incident took place near St John's Primary School, in the Heath Road area, on Saturday, September 16, at around 7.40pm.
Officers are eager to speak to a teenage girl, believed to be aged 15-16, who they believe can aid their enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Fife received a report that a 10-year-old boy was subject to racial abuse in the Heath Road area of Rosyth around 7.40pm on 16th September.
"Officers are eager to speak to a teenage girl who we believe may be able to help with our enquiries. She is described as being 15 -16 years old, 5ft 4ins tall, of average build, with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and wearing a blue denim jacket."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dalgety Bay Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 3648 of 16th September or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
